Ministry closes 56 work sites for 3 days for breaking summer time working rules. The rules which stipulate that no outdoor construction work can take place between 11:30am and 3pm are in force until August 31st. The closures should act as a warning to companies that breaking these rules will have consequences, as there are regular inspections.

The UK Royal Airforce and Qatar Amiri Air Force Typhoon Squadron. Known as No. 12 Squadron, have started flying as a joint squadron. Based at RAF Coningsby No.12 Squadron is a unique initiative between the UK and Qatar. And will provide the Qatar Amiri Air Force with valuable experience operating the Typhoon as they prepare to receive their first aircraft in 2022. The flags of both nations have been raised at RAF Coningsby.

The Met office is warning of windy conditions on Monday and Tuesday this week. As the weather condition known locally as
Al Bawarhi is set to return with strong hot, dusty and gusty winds.

Vande Bharat flights transport over 7,000 Indians back home. There have now been 40 flights organized by the Vande Bharat Mission, three of which took off yesterday from Hamad International Airport. 10 more flights are scheduled between now and June 30th according to a tweet by the Indian Embassy.

Active cases are now 19,960 meaning a decrease of 753 in the previous 24hrs period.
