No hotel quarantine for people returning from Turkey with negative COVID-19 test. The Ministry of Public Health has approved four centers for Qatari citizens to take COVID-19 tests in Turkey.

Once a COVID-free certificate has been acquired in Turkey, there will be no need for a two week hotel quarantine on arrival in Qatar.

The certificate will be valid for 48 hours.

And although no hotel quarantine will be required, certificate holders must still home quarantine for two weeks upon return.

Here’s a quick run through yesterday’s COVID update – Which shows 546 new positive cases. A huge 1,614 recoveries and I’m very sad to say, 5 deaths.

Active cases have now dropped to 6,314 meaning a decrease of 1,073 in the previous 24hr period.

Qatar Quick still predicts that we should have less than 1,000 active cases of covid-19 by July 24th. And who knows we could be right.
